General Questions

Below are some commonly-asked questions

  • Log into your TruWurk account
  • Click on your current account image (next to Projects) and select Edit Profile
  • On the right side, under the Profile Details, scroll to Upload New Picture or Upload New Cover
  • Save Profile

When you first set up your TruWurk account, you will be automatically assigned both accounts.  The Freelancer Account is for Project Managers and/or  individuals that offer services under the TruWurk brand.  Employers can submit tasks or projects, but they are not made public.  These projects are reviewed and assigned to one of our experienced project managers.  

The Employer Account is to post projects to the TruWurk internal portal when you want to hire a project manager / freelancer.

  • Log into your account
  • Select Dashboard under your profile photo
  • On the left side of your Dashboard, select Fund Deposit & Invoices
  • Select the amount you would like to deposit from the dropdown menu (minimum deposit is $5)
  • Select Secure Deposit
  • Select your deposit method

  • Go to your Dashboard, in the  dropdown menu under your profile photo:
  • Click “Profile” and then “Edit Profile”
  • In the “Change Password” section, enter your current password and your new one.
  • Click “Change Password”.

Remember, when setting up your service, be sure to add the name of your service in the Tagline.

However, your service will not show up unless you have been approved to be a TruWurk Project Manager.

While most of our Project Manager work directly for TruWurk, there are occasions when we hire freelancers / project managers.  With that said, we do not feature any services other than the Payment Center and Business Management.

  • Go to your Dashboard, in the  dropdown menu under your profile photo:
  • Click “Profile” and then “Edit Profile”
  • In the “Delete Account” section, select “Delete My Account”.
  • Under the Confirmation popup, select “Delete Anyway”.

Yes.  Our website works best with Google Chrome.  Any other browser may not work.

Log into your account:

Go your Dashboard > Select Manage Services.

Select Active Services and click on the service that you want to display an image or graphic for.

Scroll down to Upload Attachments and upload an image.  The first image you upload, will be displayed as the image for the service.

Employers / Project Managers

Questions for our Employers and Project Managers

Freelancer is the same as Project Manager and any client that hires our freelancers are considered Employers.

Employers pay TruWurk in advance for orders. Once the order is created and started, the Project Manager / Freelancer must fulfill the request/orders as described in the Project description and must deliver completed files and/or proof of work using the Deliver Your Order button (located on the Order page). Once work is delivered, the Employer has three days to respond and post a review (or 14 days for Projects with shipping). If no response is provided within the response time, the order will be considered completed. After the order is marked as complete, you have to wait 14 days to withdraw your funds.

Once your Project Manager / Freelancer Funds Account has reached $50, you will automatically receive your revenue.

To prevent fraud, employers must have funds in their account to hire a freelancer.  Once the freelancer delivers the work, funds are released to the freelancers account on file.

All Virtual Assistant Services start at $7/per hour.  New services can be added to the VA price, unless the service is not in the VA scope of services.  Create a support ticket and our team will be in contact.

We will never ask you to email us your password.

 

We will never prompt you to log into a website outside of the TruWurk.com domain.
